Orange harvest: the hidden cost of Italy's soft drinks trade
The Ecologist Film Unit travels to Calabria in Southern Italy to investigate claims that the orange harvest makes use of African migrants paid poverty wages and living in squalid conditions. Read full investigation at www.theecologist.org NOTE: Since publishing it has been brought to our attention that the two migrants shot in Rosarno in 2010 were in fact seriously injured, not killed as the film suggests. We have amended the accompanying print article and are posting this note to clarify.
